OHIO is very flat!
May 2017
So for my job, I travel to all over the country and sling camera equipment, it has it perks, like going all over the country, however I do miss my lady and my bed so it's hard to deal with sometimes.
This last trip was the longest one yet. 12 days! It was the Biggest Week in American Birding, some sort of migration pattern in a marshy area in North West Ohio.
I really didn't care much about the birds, I took the opportunity when I had it to wander and explore the area. Gathering plenty of branch images to use later!
Was able to find many old abandoned buildings, several had large animals living inside of them. The opossums (I would assume) sounded like they were like 50 pounds. Thankfully this garage was free of all wildlife, and it had great light coming in the windows!
Beautiful light!
Thankfully the show hours were not too bad, ended at 5:00pm each day so was wrapped up any where from 5:30 to 6:00... and it was light out till about 9:00 so plenty of time to explore!
Another building with more large sounding animals... or this is the one that might of had bats in it? Whatever it was I got out pretty quickly.
Tiny little town, with some great painted brick advertisements...and a Taco Bell.
It was nice having a drive from our hotel to the event each day, gave me the opportunity to look for little things hidden in the landscape.
Hazy hazy morning commute, the one day it was really windy and rainy I felt like I was in the movie Twister, which was kind of cool.
It was an enjoyable trip and I was happy with a lot of the images I got while there. Trip was from May 4th till May 14th, and that Monday commute home was rough, left Ohio 3:00 am got home at 6:30pm.... till the next time!
